About our breaks
About our well-being breaks
Gerri’s Place provides affordable well-being breaks when you need time and space to focus on your emotional and mental well-being.
We offer a range of holistic therapies to those experiencing mild depression, anxiety, grief, stress or burnout.
We introduce you to a variety of wellness tools that you can subsequently use in your everyday life. Simple techniques to help you feel better, take control, be empowered and assist you in designing your own personal path to wellness.
Rest. Reset. Connect.
At some point in the cycle of our life we will be affected by stress, grief, anger, disconnection, sadness, anxiety, and/or depression. At Gerri’s Place we are grateful to be able to share simple techniques that work in helping you cope with whatever life throws your way. Practices that give real opportunities for lasting life changes.
We create a space where you are reminded of what brings you joy and happiness. A playground for you to share laughter & tears. A sanctuary for calming the mind and nourishing the soul. We offer the opportunity to gain experience on how to get past triggers and unhealthy habits, whilst creating a new mindset fuelled by inspiration so you can start living the life that you deserve. Our intention is to help you create a personalised toolbox for life, one filled with skills to develop emotional and physical well-being.
Over the weekend guests are encouraged to make note of their favourite practices, and support is offered to explore and implement them into their daily schedules post-retreat.
Our practitioners and facilitators are passionate about what they do and want you to feel safe, nurtured, genuinely loved, and minded from the moment you arrive at Gerri’s Place.

With our experienced team of practitioners, we have developed a series of different strategies, tools and workshops that work together to help you on your journey to positive mental well-being.

We believe in the power of early intervention and empowering individuals to take control of their health and well-being. You will learn practical tools and strategies to take control of your mental, emotional, and physical health.
Community
We hope that you will build lasting relationships with fellow participants who share your commitment to a healthy and fulfilling life. Keep in touch with us and join our other short programs throughout the year to help you on your well-being journey.
Sustained Wellness
Our aim to help you learn and develop lifelong habits that promote enduring well-being and resilience ensuring that the benefits you gain extend well beyond your stay with us. Our weekends will help you learn about stress management, and other vital aspects of health.
Nutritional
We place great emphasis on providing healthy and balanced meals that not only taste good, but make you feel good. Eating a balanced diet also supports gut health, which is increasingly linked to mental health through the gut-brain axis.
