New non-profit wellbeing company receives approval for first of its kind research study in Ireland
Gerri’s Place, a new non-profit, well-being company, has received ethical approval for its first research and evaluation project, which aims to examine the impact their well-being services will have on an individuals’ mental health and well-being.
The research team is headed by one of its board members, Michael Norton, who sought to carry out a formal evaluation of the service and highlight the benefits it brings to those who participate. Michael talks about the objectives of the study and what they aim to achieve.

Gerri’s Place Releases Annual Report 2022
It has been a very successful first year for Gerri’s Place, we packed in so much on a very tight budget. We got to pilot our well-being break in March 2022 and then delivered another two successful weekends gaining confidence as we went. With additional funding we would have delivered many more. The success of these weekends is down to a number of people including our dedicated board and sub committee members, our generous partner practitioners, our willing participants and our generous funders.
